Hey friends…after an extended search I have finally found a Tomcat 24 for my own. I had to ship the boat (Joway II) from Florida to Washington State. It is now here in the Pacific Northwest with new bottom paint, new name (Tipsy) and new graphics. Also updated the table with a custom painted compass (thanks to my wife Sue) and epoxy pour (photo in the album).
I have a number of people to thank for getting me this far…many of you on C-Brats for sharing info during my hunt. I want to especially thank Brian Barr (previous owner) who was willing work with an out-of-state buyer, Darren James who showed me his beautiful Tomcat 24 on Bainbridge Island, Haul it Sam who provided prompt delivery across the country, and finally Dr. Bob Austin who was gracious enough to inspect the boat for me in Florida and answer many questions along the way.
We should be launching next week in the San Juan Islands for a fun summer of crabbing and island hopping. Cheers!
