I just got a price for labor to install the 741 and radar at $833. Is it that difficult to install?

I believe my installer will be charging around $200 to install the radar, screen and transducer. He said it's a pretty easy install. I would say that your price of $833 is pretty steep. Then again, my installer is a professional who takes on side work.
 
I will do it for 500.

really installing any of this stuff is not that hard. The only part I have not done in the past is the pump for the auto pilot. but it cant be that hard.
 
As long as we are talking about selling stuff. Has anyone had any good experiences with Craigslist? I have posted the sale of my Duffy and Gheenoe on Criagslist with very nice photos in Daytona, Orlando, Jacksonville, Sarasota. The responses are just plan weird. On the last listing I specifically stated must call owner as owner will not respond to emails or text. I still get emails like I send you a check for $40 and when that clears my hnadler will bring rest and pick up the boat. Why has Craigslist become such a place for scammers and spamers?
 
Since the gamin 741 is about to come out I bet you'll start seeing some really good deals on the 740. Is the extra $$ worth the 741?

I've had success with cragislist but I know I'll have to ignore some spam.
