...But.. if you have a choice pick either brand and stick with it , there are both probably fine. Garmin seems to be more common.

Most common does not necessarily equal best.

For me Garmin’s customer support has been fantastic and the system has been easy to use. I’m going to be in the market for new electronics in a year or two and I’ll be looking for radar, auto pilot, 12” screen, fish/depth finder, chart plotter Ect... and man is it pricey :shock: but if I were to get all that 30 years ago it would have been double the cost and not as good so there’s that!
