My friend just bought a wavewalker /w500 It looks very interesting stable and could serve as a good tender or dingy .It can be also used as a kayak and be rowed or you can put a motor on it $1300-1800 . I hope to try it next week. This might be better then a blow up boat could be a cheaper Mokai ?
Although the mokai looks hard to beat

We have a 14' Kaboat by Saturn with a 2.5 Suzuki motor. I blow it up with a 12 volt electric two stage air pump. I move it around on a small 2 wheel dolly when we are on land. It is stable and has lots of capacity. 2 people and 2 dogs with gear are no problem. I can paddle it in shallow water with a 2 blade Kayak paddle. For us it is the perfect dingy or we can keep it in deflated in our RV and get out on lakes and rivers if we are not towing the CD 19 with us.

I have had all kinds of Canoes and Kayaks over the years Royalux (sp), alum, kevlar, roto mold poly, traditional skirted kayaks, sit ons, and now a Hobbie mirage drive kayak.
I could take the wife and dogs in the canoe but she spent more time bird watching than at the paddle. I could never get her in her own kayak. The Kaboat is a great compromise and we can cover a lot of river or lake distance with the small motor and also float small streams or rivers. Cost is reasonable.
