Went down to Kent Interstate Plastics and picked up a 52 x 96 sheet of 1/2 Starboard a couple days ago and it is gradually turning into a fish hold for the Lori L. Just have the hinges to make and it is done. It added exactly 33 pounds to the stern, which I really didn't need, but I think the trade off will be worth it. I have my port rear hold converted into a live well for crab and shrimp and this should hold a salmon or 2 if I'm ever lucky enough to snag one. This is my first time working with this stuff and it is a breeze to cut and bend. Took me half a day to get up enough courage to make the first two board cuts though. At $225 a sheet, I really don't want any mistakes. I didn't need a full sheet, but it looks like it will be some handy stuff to have around. I uploaded a few photos of the process in my album and have a couple more I will load when installed.
