New Headline

Great Job on the new Headline format on the site!

(oh, and BC I'm not referring to a bunch of guys waiting to use the bathroom). :shock:
 
Thanks, Dave - it was time for a little change.

The new header is smaller, which allows more "useful stuff" to be seen on the screen at a time. Those of you with older PC's and/or smaller monitors should appreciate this.

I've also added a "Help" button - as time permits, we'll populate the system with frequently asked questions, and details on how many of the site features function.

I just got back from waiting to use the restroom and noticed the new headline :) you guys sure do a damn fine job of tending to the pub....I move that the wages of our two pub tenders be doubled
 
:thdown I am not one for change. I am on the fence on this one. I like the help button but I don't like how you had to change the look of the Logo.
 
I don't think that "Help" button does much. I have two meetings to attend tomorrow, both slated for the same time, I hit the help button and it offered no remedy for this problem
 
Cool look. I agree with the comments for the "help" button, though. It didn't help get me any more cash in my account for a new boat!

The new menu and compact style are great. I use a pocket pc as well as laptop and desktop and smaller is better for the little one. It would be a grand slam if the logo still had a clear background so its cuteness was not disguised.

Dog pics, weimeraners in particular (my son has a new 18 week old pup) are always welcomed.

Ugh! Damn - that's ugly in IE!

Sorry folks - I just took a look at the new header in IE. The logos look like crap, due to IE's inability to handle transparent PNG graphics correctly.

While I use the infinitely superior Firefox browser, which displays the logos correctly, I forgot to check things in IE until just now.

I'll re-do the logos this evening.

For those of you who didn't notice a problem - congratulations on using a modern browser that adheres to standards. For the rest of you, I'll dumb down the graphics. :mrgreen:
 
Hey Bill-Personally, I have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps you should dumb down more than the graphics! Even better, don't waste your time on my account. Whatever you do is just fine with me.

New arrangement looks great. Redone logo looks great. But what in the heck were you talkin' about in your last post?????

I thought IE was industrial engineer

I thought PNG was a terminal where them big ships delivered liquified gassss.

And I really thought that Firefox was just a bad Clint Eastwood movie.

Man...I guess I'm not up on thid here techie stuff!!! :lol:

Great job. I agree that your salary should be doubled. Here Here.

I like the new headliner, Bill, looks great in either Firefox or Safari.
Naturally, being just a young guy, I'm probably more adaptable to change than Roger is. Heh, heh.
