I needed new signs on my new truck and was not having good relations with the out fit I have used in the past. Lets just say " Bad service" was the jest of the problem. So about that same time I was reading here on the brats that new memeber kevin "catch 22" was in the same business of making signs. So I called him about what I needed and what it would cost. I was very impressed with what he came up with for me and at the low cost. My graphics are not fancy but thats what I wanted without being boring. Kevin put the new signs on my truck last night and they look great. Just what I was after. Kevin also talked to me about a product that I would want for the back of my tow rig. Its a full size window picture of my c-dory that is applied to the inside of the window that you can not see from the inside but is just like a photo from the outside. Sound like a great way to show off the boat when it is not on the truck. You could use any photo you want.

Tom,

Looks good, and I like the idea of supporting one of our own. And I really like the idea of the photo in the truck window, on the inside. COOL :smilep I looked around at kevin's photos and web site. They do some really nice work, including a fast boat, (hydro) that you would probably like. (It's that go fast thing  showing up again.

thanks for the kind words tom (i didnt even pay him to say that), we blew the motor in the hydro last week in tri-cities, i think we are taking the rest of the season off to finish construction on a new boat shop in lynnwood, next year we will have our "A" motor finished and a new tow rig and go for the national championship, as for seafair, for the first time in a while i can just enjoy it from the beach and not have to work all day, should be fun...

Kevin,

How does the rear window picture "thing" work. Do you use an individual photo? Does it cover the whole rear window? Does it help to keep the cab cooler? Any thing else I should ask? It sounds like a cool trick.

Still thinking 8)

it acually goes on the outside of the window, its vinyl that is perferated so you can see though the image from the inside, the image is anything you want, any digital photo jpeg you can come up with, we print it on the material and apply it to the vehicle, you see this used for advertising on busses all the time, ill try and find a photo of a finished product....

Kevin,

What kind of usable life span for vinyl on the outside?

different products have different life spans, usually between 3 and 7 years, on digital prints, we can coat it with a uv protective film that is supposed to make it fade resistant for 3 more years, for the window covering s i think the factory says they last 3 years and with the uv protection it goes for six, honesty these products are all so new, i dont think anyone has time tested them for too long, i know we have prints that have been in the world for 4 years and still look good....

if you want to see a photo of a rear window with a digital print on it i put one in my album OTHER COOL STUFF, i know a few people were interested, its not the greatest picture of the car, but you get the idea...
