Scooter is a pending sale as of 10/22. We will post the new owners names (they're Brats but found the boat through Boat Trader) as soon as the sale is complete. The new owners live in Washington and will be able to attend functions that we were unable to participate in.

So sorry to hear of Helen's deteriorating health. Know that you are always welcome to any C-Dory Gatherings, including the Seattle Boat Show. You don't need to own a C-Dory to join the fellowship with this group -- you folks have been welcome members and will always be one of us. With our best wishes to you both. El and Bill

Thank you for your kind thoughts. We will definitely continue to read and maybe even comment on the many and varied posts on this site.

Helen will recover (we are committed to this goal) but it will take some time and that is the reason that we were forced to sell Scooter.

Now that Scooter is a pending sale the reality of no longer having a boat is sinking in. It took over two months to muster the courage to post the sale add on this site, partially because of embarrassment. We didn't want the group to view us as just using the site just to promote our sale (even though we have been members for a couple of years).

Side Note: We purchased our first 22 from Coos Bay Marine Service
(Harry and Van) in 1992. Keep on posting accounts of your travels with Halcyon, they make inspirational reading for those of us temporarily land bound. :)
