Need advice, PLZ

Hello to all! This is my 1st post. My love is a 2002 CD 22 cruiser. The white strips, appx. 3/4"by 1", screwed to the deck, that hold the gas tanks in place, seem to be popping up from the deck. This is especially noted on a hot day when the gas tanks seem to bulge. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? My friend owns a CD 16. He replaced the strips with teak and glued them to the deck with 5200. I'm not sure what to do. Any advice on how to fix it? Many thanks for any help.

Pull the strips off and fill the screw holes with 5200 as well as a bead of 5200 under the strip when you replace it by installing the screws back in the holes. That should help.

Hey Mike, check out the posts on the Chesapeake Bay C-Dory gathering scheduled for the weekend of June 19 - would be great if you can join in!

Mike, by all means, join us for some of the trip at least. Plan B will start up near DC early the week before the 19 June weekend and travel down the Potomac and then up Ches Bay to Delaware. Not sure who will join when but we'll be at my place near where the Potomac hits the Bay near the weekend of 19-20 June.

Hope you can make it,

Charlie
