Has anyone installed a Navman with a 5/16" fuel line? The instructions say 3/8" but I don't want to change all the fuel lines if it works with 5/16". Or can you just splice in a section of 3/8" line?

I have used one with 5/16--just put in a reducing hose barb--and be sure and use a filter before the transducer.

Thanks Bob, I have put it off for over a year but gas prices force me to put it on the top of my list before cruising this year.

Just a short comment. I don't think Navman has changed their documentation, if not, the tx/rx NMEA 183 wiring is reversed. If it first doesn't work when you connect the GPS. swap tx and rx.

I was of the understanding that Navman was no longer making this unit?? The wiring comment is correct, I had to reverse mine also.

David,
I believe you are right, I bought the unit over a year ago and have been putting off the installation. I hope to have it installed before the Friday Harbor CBGT.
