mr. TyBoo and mr. Da Nag

hi guys,
linda and i have been looking at a number of harbor master and gibson house boats.
our goal was to sell misty seas and purchase a larger more comfortable boat, which was exactly what we had and subsequently sold (2000 carver 356 aft cabin) and replaced it with the c-dory.
i think the process of looking at other boats has driven home all the benefits our c-dory represents, so with that in mind we have decided to keep and enjoy our misty seas.
we appreciate the help you extended to us by listing our boat for sale and now ask for one additional favor and delete our boat from that list.
thanking you in advance,
best regards
pat

Pat, does this mean you will not be resigning your comission in the "Buckeye Navy"? The folks on Lake Cumberland like to keep tabs on your current roster.

Hey Pat! This is great news. My younger brother Mike and I were talking about this and wanted to be sure to let you know we have several places to leave your boat if ya wanted to do some Cumberland River cruising and see the home sites from the water. This is a great time of year due to the leaves being off the trees. Have a few dock spaces for you.

Oh...please tell your 10-15 year younger sister Linda we said Hey... Oh..excuse me...that was your wife Linda. Well...we all think she looks 10-15 years younger than you too.

Your Loving C-Brat Friend

byrdman,
ok, maybe i was mistaken and michael is actually your older brother and come to think about it you do look substantially younger and more handsome than he, but, you guys are correct in that my lovely spouse does look much younger than me. really appreciate the offer of boat storage, that may actually work, but probably not be available until early spring. we have decided not list the lake home until after the holidays.
have a great thanksgiving.
best regards
pat

 Patrick & Linda,
I find it really amusing that you thought Pat was older! He just isn't old enough to have developed this much ugly :beer :thup
Have a great Thanksgiving & look foward to meeting ya'll,
Mike

hi mike,
can't get between two brothers throwing darts, but it sounds like you guys are peas in a pod. i've got 4 brothers and know exactly the fun we have with each other. we're looking forward to reading your post. is it the 22' c-dory that you'll make the trip in and if so how much fuel will you carry aboard?
we'll for sure look you guys up the next time we visit nashville.
best regards
pat

ps: for the record, we have much respect for the byrdman

Patrick & Linda,
Yes, GYPSY is a 22 cruiser, 58 gallon fuel tank, 1752 hours on the Yami 90. When we bought her Jan. '06 she had 168 hours on the motor.
Yeah, Pat and I have had more fun than should be legal!! , well we didn't get caught, let's put it that way 8)
Happy Thanksgiving to all! GYPSY, Mrs. B, and me will be cruising to Clarksville and preping up for the BIG trip! :cigar :beer :smiled about 214 miles.
Mike

Hummm... now, with my shoes on, boat shoes, no toes visible, that is about 1584 hours Mike & B have put on GYPSY in about 47 user months....or, an AVERAGE.... of 33.7+ hours a month.
Now, that is enjoying your boat!!!!

So now part of me wants to round it up and say that is 4 years, or 1460 days, minus about 30 for the 47 months.... = about 1430 days... or, an average of over 1.1 hours.....A DAY!!!!

and...this is hours that the motor runs....not the ones anchored out...

Now, ya gotta realise... Mike has owned his own business during these years...and worked about 60 hours a week. So...can ya see him getting home, not even going into the house....cranking up GYPSY...and off into the evening... many, many, many times.

Go Brother Go!!!
