Hello all,

New member but have been reading all I can on this boat. Getting very close to ordering one. One of my concerns is the rigid nature of the helm seat. Has anyone seen a modification that would allow for movement sideways, elevation, backrest movement etc.

Thanks from a very cold Bismarck, ND...low last night a brisk -27F

I yarded the seat out, built a small drawer in that spot and threw a cushion on top of the whole mess. For me it is much more comfortable + I use the cushion on top of the cooler out back + with the cushion removed I have more counter space.....It aint for everybody but I like it....probably should get some pics of it some day

Hi Pat and welcome. I have a new 22 cruiser with twin 40's. The seat will stick out into the aisle a little because of the twin controls mounted on the right. The seat can not be moved back any because of the cabinet with the sink in it and the counter. When my wife is at the helm we just slip a cushion under her.

I like the back on the seat. There may be a different seat available that would be ajustable up and down.

Kate is from Devils Lake, so we know about the cold. Come to think about it that is why she is here in the Seattle area.

Go to some of the albums and you may see some pictures of different seats. I spent all my seat energy making the port seat reversible.
