We just received in the new Mini-brochures and will be sending them out starting Monday of next week. I will also post two pictures of the mini-brochure in the factory section, for you all to peruse. Thank you to all that requested them and let me know your thoughts once you have received them.

Sincerely,

Scott

Roger,

Thanks for putting those pictures into this thread.

Scott,

Thanks for getting them done. Looking forword to actually having them in hand and passing them out. It will be a fine addition to the boat.

I think this will be a nice handout for the owners and a great sales tool for Triton. I am looking forward to getting mine.

I noticed right away that it appears one image is a 29 footer. I talked with another brat and he agrees. Just curious why a 29 would be in the spotlight when everyone thinks that the couple that were built are the ugly ducklings of the CD world? Anyone care to take a stab at it?

Not trying to be negative, just an observation.

1) In the view shown, it looks fine.
2) My guess is that the photo met the aesthetic criteria that Scott was looking for - nice backgroun etc.

I'm not clear on what the "Contact Info" on the C-Brat side is for - is the factory going to put something in that space? Are we (I asked for a batch) responsible for attaching / printing a business card in that area?

The next time these are made, I'd suggest word-smithing the C-Brat side a bit...starting with "The fact that..." isn't very friendly, and the all-caps lacks legibility.

Still, it's nice that the factory followed through on this and I'm sure the overall impact will be positive.

In answer to the question regarding the decision to use the 29' photo, it was simply due to the availability good quality high resolution pictures.

We have a good number of great pictures that came over from Fluid Marine, but they were not high res. However, still I thought the card was well done.

The blank section on the C-Brat side is just a space for the C-Dory owner to provide his/her contact information if they so choose.

We have over sixty C-Dory owners that we are sending the cards out to tomorrow. We truly appreciate the gracious willingness of our C-Dory owners to help us promote the C-Dory brand.

Jeff,

Nice job on the brochure. I suspect it will turn out to be a very good investment. I didn't notice the "29". I was so drawn to that all-time-classic photo of the 22 coming off the big swell. That is the photo that started the ball rolling on my purchase of a C-Dory. And I'm so glad I did! :D :thup Out on the Potomac 2 days ago in wind, rain and swells but stayed safe, warm, and dry. Even my wife enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!

Can't wait to get mine. Now that I am tied up at the marina, lots of folks are talking to me about the boat. The most common comment is about how much boat is able to be put into 16 feet!

Jeff, I received my packet of mini brochures in the mail today. Thank you very much! They are on Sea Shift as I write this and will make their first voyage with me on Monday.

Today I gave out my 1st Mini Brochures to an Everett Herald Reporter and an Everett Herald Photographer that I gave a ride to in the Snohomish River Delta.

How's that for media coverage? :smilep

I GOT MINE.

They do look nice, and though the 29 is there, it is probably only obvious to those who are somewhat more acquainted with the boats that the average first time looker. The family resemblance is obvious.

Good job Scott and crew. Thanks for sending the cards. One goes into my C-Dory memorabilia collection and the other 4 will be on the boat, for a while. :D

Way to go Dave, when will we see SeaShift on the front page of the paper?

Not.....they are working on another story. They did however find some interesting "material" for future stories as we were all invited on board the El Primero. Guess that means I may have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Teddy Roosevelt and his compadres.

I got mine today, also. We are starting the Great Loop Tour in Cocoon about mid-April. They will be a nice handout to have.
