microwave/generator

I don't know if removing the lightbulb would do anything...Steve thinks it's the initial draw that kills it....because it's immediate that the overload light comes on and the microwave shuts down instantly after that light comes on. I think we'll have to think about an inverter...or skip the nukes :lol:

we didn't leave the generator on after we heard it slow way down and noted the red overload light...then tried it once more to make sure because we had it on econo mode the first time -- but it did the same thing...Steve had his hands in place and pulled the cord as soon as he saw the overload light come on again...I thought I'd seen that someone was able to run the 700 watt microwave with the Honda 1000..that's why I bought them..but they won't go to waste :) -- we'll put the microwave in the travel trailer we'll get when we retire and the generator back in the boat :thup
