I shot up to Sportcraft this morning to meet Marty and his son Joe as they picked up the new CD 16 Angler. It was fun to finally meet after years of chatting via threads and PMs. The new boat looks like a sweetie!!!

Marty,
That's quite an anchor on your new ride. Good luck with your new boat.

That is not our trailer. They were waiting to plunk the boat in the water to transfer it to the new trailer. It was great to meet Steve (Wandering Sagebrush). You can't beat the C-Brats. Thanks Steve for coming down from Canby. Joe and I appreciate it.

Hey Marty,

Good to "see" you. Hope we can do it on the water soon. Hope the trip home goes well.

Marty: with your EFI engine and that fuel tank you won't be losing much time at the fuel dock. One tankful will go quite a ways! Very nice looking boat, congrats! Mike.

Thanks again everybody. I had a happy morning cleaning. There are some problems to be worked out, but they are good problems. I'm finding too much stuff which I don't need, most of it fishing related . There is even a well used magma grill, which is of no use for our packed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Love the oil bath hubs on the new trailer. And how about that anchor setup! It brings back memories of my battle station as a sight setter on 5 inch gun. Try sitting between two of them in a turret. But, that's another story .....

Bringing this to the top, so we can get update from Marty.

Hi Dwight- Look for a PM

Romeo November . . .

congrats . . .

Appears nicely over provisioned . . .

It is really fun to meet forum members in real life.

Nice bit of kit . . .

Jeff

If people walking the dock don't point at your anchor and laugh - it's not big enough... I'd say Marty is getting close to big enough, though...
