As our August plans develop, it looks like we will spend a few days in the Acadia area of Maine before heading to Nova Scotia. Would love to join up with any C-Dory folks who will be in the area August 12-16. Would also appreciate any advice from those who have cruised in this area. Thanks!
 
You trailering on the ferry to Nova Scotia?

We have friends in Halifax and love to visit them. Of course we've only been there in the summer! I've become a "Nova Scotia salmon snob," nothing else compares.

I would love to make the trip with you--have a sister living in Deer Isle, ME--BUT trailering the Why Knot from Mount Vernon, WA would be a bit much.
 
Yes Chuck, we are probably going to take the catamaran ferry from Bar Harbor rather than the overnight one from Portland. Wade, would love to have you along. Someday I hope we get to trek cross country with the Otter in tow, but it probably won't be for some time.

Well, maybe nothing else compares in OHIO...but out here, we are pretty fond of Columbia River Springers (Chinooks, Kings), ESPECIALLY those caught at Cathlamet... :wink:
