FYI: With the purchase of the boat, I ended up getting a new 8200# capacity tandem axle aluminum Magic Tilt trailer (model #2682). I probably could have gotten away with a 7300# trailer, but the 6000# unit they wanted to sell me at first was way too light. So, I paid a little more and went with the 8200# unit to give me a bigger cushion for when I'm loaded heavy. The manufacturer's published weight of this unit is 880 pounds.
