longer days!

As I write this the sun is finally shining in my dinning room window, it's 10:43 am. The days are finally getting lighter longer, now if the temperature would just rise above zero. It's-12 right now, been like this since we got back from Hawaii last Saturday.
 
man, you should have stayed in HI :) cold I can deal with but I don't know how you all make it through the dark season, I would go nuts.....heck.....even around here I have to indulge in a little light therapy to keep from going nuts, I'll go out in the shop and do some welding without a helmet........not
 
Longer days - Hurray!
We celebrate it every year.

Here in Utah, we're also celebrating the fact that at last winter seems to have arrived. Until a few days ago, we had one of the driest 6 weeks of winter on record in this neck of the woods. Not good for skiers, of course, and really not good for water supply in the summer.
 
Good morning from Juneau, Jay. We have been in the negative temps lately but just got in a batch of new snow. It is up to 28 degrees here this morning and feels nice! I can actually really feel the days getting longer, especially in the morning. I can now see the beauty on my way in to work!!
