Logging into C-Brats with Firefox

I have only ever used IE (currently have IE8) but after having some problems with another site, I added Firefox. It seems to work very well for everything else, but for some reason I cannot log into the C-Brats site with Firefox. When I put in my name and password, I do not get an error, but it does not log me in either. As I said, I am new to Firefox. Is there something obvious I am missing? There are a bunch of other sites that I frequent that require passwords and they all seem to work fine with Firefox. Thanks.

Rob

Rob, are you logging in from a mobile device (phone or iPad, or the like) or from a computer. Sometimes the wireless devices perform differently.

I can't get on with firefox either. I log on, and it just goes back to the login page without accepting the login. Doesn't say I've entered anything incorrectly, just doesn't log in.

Check Extensions and Plugins

Some extensions can cause problems with logging in to websites, especially extensions associated with certain websites. For example:

If you can't log in to Yahoo! and you use a Yahoo! Toolbar extension, try disabling it using the instructions in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article, restarting Firefox and then following the steps above to clear cookies and cache again.
If you can't log in to Gmail and you use a Google extension, try disabling it and then following the above steps to clear cookies and cache before trying to log in again.
Other extensions may also cause login problems. To determine if they are the cause, see: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

Some plugins can also cause problems logging in to websites. See the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article for instructions on how to determine whether a plugin is causing your problem.

Security application is blocking cookies

Some Internet security and privacy applications have features that block cookies. Check the documentation that came with your software or visit the software provider's support site, to see if your application includes a cookie control feature and how you can change those settings.

This is exactly what happens to me.

Brent is on the right track.

Every login issue I've helped out with like this, was fixed by clearing cache and/or cookies. Doesn't matter what browser or OS.

The process is different for each browser...Google is your friend.

Guess I'm just lucky! I only use Firefox on my MacBook & it's always worked fine & I'm a computer DUMMY. Have NO idea what you are talking about. Roy

Would cache and/or cookies be an issue for a new browser downloaded and installed a few days ago?
