Sorry, this may have been asked ...and answered, but gotta get on the road to move the boat...

Was just called by a friend who has been a C-Brat for years,....and use to post often, but of late, they have just been snooping...but not signing in and posting.

Is there a time-out window for an account to be put on "hold" or temporarily deactivated....or something if they do not sign on and post every so often????

Told them I'd ask....cause they can not post..or ask.

Just wondering...

Nope. Once an account is activated, we never touch them...with a few obvious exceptions (spammers, requests from the account owner to delete, etc.)

An account owner on the other hand, can unknowingly deactivate their own account. When somebody changes their email address in their profile, the account is automatically deactivated - but an activation email is sent to the new email address when the change takes place.

If the member receives the activation email and clicks the link, no problemo. If the member enters their new email address incorrectly, or the activation email gets caught up in a SPAM filter, that's a different story...Mike or I will need to manually reactivate the account.
