I just saw this this last week and think it is something all the C-Brats should know about. Some may want to participate officially, and all should practice the promoted principle as a personal safety practice.
This year the “set the record” day is on May 18. That should not be the only day we practice this activity. (It should be habit, and if it is there may be a time when we are very thankful for that.) It may save our life or that of a loved one or family member.
The announcement was on p-53 of the May 2013 Boating magazine. May 18, Saturday, is the Life Jacket World Record Day. Go to the website (Link below), and check the site. It does not look like it would be hard. Might be fun to get some local C-Brat friends together, take a photo, and send it in. Maybe we can make a C-Brat presence. My hope is that we can help raise some awareness and increase the safety level of our family.

Hope to see everyone on the water that day wearing their PFD. Looks like there will be about 40 C-Dory's at Friday Harbor on May 18. Might be fun to work this into that event.
How about it? Participation?
