I just wanted mention what great service we had on a 700 Pro series windlass that we purchased 2009. We started to have what seemed like binding issues while retriving our anchor. Since these units have a 5 year warranty I called Fluid Technologies Lewmar's authorized service center in Jacksonville Florida 904 384 9659. I sent the windless down to them on monday today I got a call from Michael from Fluid Technolgies saying he looked over our unit, and they have decided to replace the windlass with a new one free of charge. A seal had failed causing a water intrusion problem. The newer units have had some revisions to prevent this from happening. Nice people great service.
