Launch Ramp Fun

I'm not much of a jet ski fan so I figure thats the way they always retrieve the ski! I guess the cover on the bed of the truck is to keep it from filling with water? Years ago I lived next door to a public boat ramp in Green Cove Springs Florida. It was really great intertainment to take a six pack over to the ramp on saturday and just watch.

I'm with you Marvin. During the 2 most miserable years of my life I lived in Las Vegas and our best entertainment was going to a 6 lane boat ramp on Lake Mead and finding a shady spot to watch. We saw a few sinkings, the beginnings of many divorces, and hundreds of heated explanations of which way was left and which was right and how to make the trailer go that way. By the way, most boats take about 20 minutes to sink without a plug.

There's a long story that goes with this but I'll cut to the really exciting part. I watched a guy with a brand new cuddy cabin boat try to pull it up on his drive on trailer while standing on the trailer in about two feet of water. He had a line tied to the bow eye and was giving it all he had when he lost his footing and slide under the trailer. He panicked and couldn't find his way out from under it or get his head up. If it hadn't been for my buddy dragging him from under the trailer by his foot he would have drowned.

Looks like a good way to get somebody hurt BAD. (The guy on the fordeck of the PWC.) What's with no 4WD switch
