Soon we'll have our CD22 in the Gulf Islands for a few weeks and then stored in Blaine, WA until next year. Seeing that our boat has always been in freshwater I thought it might be good to launch it into a freshwater lake and run around the lake for 30 minutes or so before storing it for 8 months.

I noticed Lake Terrell is only 8 miles from our storage facility. Does anyone know if this lake would be good to launch and boat around for a bit to flush the saltwater?

You might flush the motor as an alternative, Rabbit ears so you flush the water pump.
