My wife and I towed the cd-25 to spring canyon boat launch on 5-26-08 and found that yes you could launch if one wanted to do so beyond the reach of the high and dry dock. There were indeed several 17 to 20 ft aluminum types doing this, however we decided to back track about 14 miles and launch at steamboat rock and cruise north end of banks lake instead. A friend who fished the seven bays area found roiled water and lots of debris from the flooding going on. When I here the dock is useable I will let everyone know
