Lake Powell in April???

I thought I'd go to Lake Roosevelt the middle of April, but with the weather not improving very rapidly I,ve decided that Lake Powell will be a better choice. Anybody else planning to be at Powell mid to late April??

Yes just don't know which week yet. I just go down for the weekends with maybe a friday or monday thrown in.

We will get to Lake Powell sometime in the next few weeks. We only live 2 hours from Bullfrog or Hite. The weather has been cooler than normal this spring, and has slowed the fishing. I am first interested in fishing, second in cruising. The temps have been in the 70's days, and the 40's at night. The water temp is in the mid 50's. The fish will turn on when the water temp reaches 60. This should be the best fishing year in the last ten years.
