I just got back from the scales. 2007 CD22, boat, motor and trailer 4000lbs. Tongue weight 400lbs. I did not get weight of just of trailer.

Just Curious - was the that full of fuel, water, and any other gear? Do you have duel batteries?

That is full water, 5 gal fuel, two batteries, Anchor, 10' chain, 300 ft 1/2 rode, windless, radar, fishfinder, gps, autopilot and I guess about 10 or 15 Lbs of OTHER.

Many thanks, what kind of trailer, motor (I assume no kicker)?? Sounds like keeping a 22 under 5000 lbs should be very doable

The weight of my 22' Cruiser, with twim Johnson 50 HP 4 strokes, full fuel tanks, 1/2 tank H20, on 2 axle King Trailer is 4,720 lbs. (That was weighing only the boat and trailer while it was hitched onto the truck).
(Also had no coolers ie: beer on board at time of weigh in).. :wink
