I found C-Brats surffing the web. The more I look the more I like. I live is southern Oregon and have fished and boated most of my life. I am retired now after 38 years on the Union Pacific Railroad and looking for new adventures. I have always ran Jet boats on the Rogue and most southern Oregon rivers but now want to move to Ocean and lakes. Recently I posted an add asking for help finding a 22 foot cruiser and several people jumped in and suggested places to look. Real friendly forum.

A gentleman from canada soon contacted me and I will be looking at his boat later in September. Can't wait. I really like the site as I've been active on several forums throughout the state. I hope to be able to add something to C-Brats after I get one.

My passion is making videos of my adventures. Most of my friends know me by the nickname Hambone. My YouTube channel is hambone1331 and I'm very active on facebook. Always looking for new friends.

Anyway I'm glad to be on board and just wanted to Hi.

Welcome aboard Mike Hamilton/Hambone!! You will indeed find this a very friendly bunch, the only rule we have is "Just be nice". Sometimes we get carried away when passionate about a subject (like politics) but then someone brings us back to boating which is why we are all here in the first place.

You'll find us on here all hours of the day and night, when not boating, and those with mobile internet even do it while boating! We also love gadgets, electronics and engines!!

You'll be glad when you finally get your C-Dory! Good luck... (want a TomCat?)

Welcome to the site. So what boat do you have your eyes on up in Canada?
 
I'm looking at at 22' Cruiser. I would like the 25 but I need a boat I can trailer as I fish all over the place. It looks like the 22 will work just fine. I'm already planning a trip to the San Juan Islands next year if things work out.
