James Rosborough obituary

Although they are not my perfect cup of tea, I always stop and look over any RB26 that is for sale. I know that we are losing some of the great designers of our times but there are young folks stepping up to take the helm. His was a nice long run and I wish he could have passed sitting on one of his designs and not in a senior home suffering from COVID-19. Lord bless you all.

Mr Rosborough was a real old school wood boat builder. I can recall a conversation with his son Bob on one of my visits to Halifax Bob indicating he and his brothers were told by their father that boats are made of wood, not that fiberglass stuff. His participation in the business for sure was limited as fiberglass became popular. Great family. Great Built boats. Condolences to all the extended Rosborough families.
