I don't recall seeing this posted, so I thought I would toss it out.

There is an internet radio site called Pandora that is part of the Music Genome project. Here's the Link to Pandora. By choosing an artist, or a song, Pandora will build a radio station around that particular genre. You can refine it by giving thumbs up/down on particular cuts.

I am building my station around Hawaiian slack key/Narada/Windam Hill. How about you?

Enjoy.

Steve

Actually there was a posting about Pandora about a week ago HERE

I have had it on several times playing with it. Very cool.

Narada and Wyndham Hill are great boat music. Except if you are in the Victoria Inner Harbor around midnight, then some gravitate towards the Stones or Beach Boys.

Our taste runs to classical - kvod, on the computer is marvelous. NPR Denver.

El and Bill,

Diana and I like classical, too. In particular, baroque. Scarlatti, Corelli, Bach, Vivaldi, Pachebel, etc..

If you've got an iPhone you can download Pandora for free and stream music. As long as you have cell service or wifi this would work on the boat as well.

Pandora is really cool. Here is another neat program (free after registration) for your handheld device.
