Can someone remind me of what it is that can be put under the v berth cushhions to aid with helping things "breathe" under there? I can't remember the name of the stuff.

Hypervent Under Cushion Moisture Manager

I got some similar stuff from a construction job I was working on. It's called "cedar breather" and is installed on top of roof sheathing, under cedar roof shingles. If you know the roofer, it's free.

Probably best checking with your local lumber yard. There are several drainage products that are similar and much cheaper. We sell a product called "Home Slicker" in 3 ft. wide by 50 ft long rolls for about $90 per roll. It's made to be installed on top of the sheathing and housewrap, but under the siding. It creates an air space behind the siding and allows water that penetrates the siding room to flow down and exit the wall cavity. It's a yellow plastic woven product much like the hypervent (wich I would guess is a similar product repackaged for marine use.) It may not be available in stock in most yards, but most could order in a roll or two.
