We have finalized our spring midwest C Dory gathering. It will be held in conjunction with Rabidfish Marine's annual "Get Rabid" in-water boat show.

Opportunity to "demo" the C Dory line from the 16 through the 25. ( Sorry, we don't think the Tomcat will be here by then)

The date will be Saturday May 13th on Morse Reservoir in Noblesville, IN. Morse Reservoir is approx 1800 acres. While the "cruising" potential is limited, the ability to test drive the boats is good even if the weather is not. ( Note: There is a bridge that is not passable with anything higher than the top of a 22 Cruiser ) We call this bridge "Arch Eater"!

For those who had hoped for an extended cruise, don't get discouraged. We are still planning a Fall (more of a cruise)event. More info on that later.
 
Good luck with your show in May. It looks like the NASCAR family will be in town the weekend of 6 Aug 06 too... Cruising @ Indy??
 
My apologies for this not being more cruise-like. We were attempting to put together an Ohio River cruise. The issue is... The river is not very reliable in the spring. It has been extremely high in the past. (Not very safe) And there may not be docks available during that timeframe.
Because we felt we needed to plan better, we decided to join the event with another event we already have in place.

Most of the cruising during early August is done on 16th St, or on Georgetown Ave. If you fly the NASCAR colors... It's a heck of a good run! As for me... I'll be in Green Bay passing through Port De Morts to Lake Michigan that week. It's an annual trip with good friends. (Not that Ya'll arn't welcome!) Still, someone is always there, and I hope you'll get a chance to stop in!

Again, we are planning another event. More on this once the Erie Canal trip gets firmed up a little.
