Increase Flotation vs Ditch bag

Thought I would start a new thread - as a takeoff from the Ditch bag and Fred's comments about increasing flotation and staying with the boat. I agree with increasing flotation and staying with boat - and ditch bag could be very useful regardless of staying with boat or just going to shore on a calm day in an inflatable.

However I would like to know what folks have done to increase flotation of the dory -
