I'm looking for a 22' C-Dory ride in Western Washington

I've looked at several but only one was in the water and the test ride was.........ok. It didn't have trim tabs and the owner suggested changing the tilt on the motor would work just as well. We took it out in a light chop of about 1' and it was rough and noisy over 11 knots. No adjustments were made. Only after it was all over did I wonder if bringing the bow down would have made a difference?

I'd sure like to take a ride if anyone is going out. Seattle area or north Whidbey. Weekdays are fine and I will be at the boat show in Anacortes this weekend.

Thanks

Dan

good luck with the ride i am sure someone will offer, ours will be coming out of storage here in a few weeks although were a bit further out than your area your looking for.

that said even with trim tabs in chop its still a bit rough and noisy if trying to maintain higher speeds. and thats if its heading following i find its best to not even use the trim tabs.

the one thing I have learned going on our third year in out first c-dory was its just better all around to slow down. the boat does much better and the ride is more pleasant. took well over a year for me to start to see this as we have always had deep-v boats in the past.
