The First ! Last week, on the radio... BB King announced that on his birthday we all get new shoes ! (I am thrilled)
And also with that news I decided that I would again go fight my Raymarine C-80 that eats Navionics Charts...
To my amazement I fired it up.....and it worked ? no idea why...but it has the charts and they work fine.... it must have been corrosion on the pins of the C-80 and taking the chip in and out did it...who knows..

Now the Biggie !

One of us...one that I promised not to tell who he is... is going to be one of the Features on....... True Stories of the California Fish and Game...
He will be playing the part of OFFENDER hunting with a shot gun that holds more than three shells... He and his other, try to talk their way out of an expensive ticket... he shows great restraint...(that we all know is an act)... and takes his ticket ...even thanking the officer.. (sucking up)
But what they don't say is that they misspelled his name....twice... now I ask you how hard is it to spell Roger ?

I don't know when it airs... hopefully he will have paid the ticket and has cooled down before it does...

(I'm thinking that he should learn to hold shotgun shells in his mouth like another one of your fellow Cal C-Brat does.... :lol: ).

You're a lucky man with the new shoes and Raymarine C-30 alive and well! Funny how sometimes we can't get something to work right, then later it decides to fix itself! Very humbling, dammit!!! :lol:

Any cop that would give me a ticket for not having a plug in my shotgun so it would hold more than three shotshells, (it only had three in it)
needs to be told what he is.... course I always get the ticket... but what the heck...If I was going to be on National TV .. I would earn that ticket...and if he misspelled my name I would go on a rant about that for the viewers entertainment...

:embarrased yep, guilt as charged. As an Inspector I can identify with them. I also had a G.W. friend that was shot and killed at a check point in Washington.
