Moving C Dory 16 Annie M from dock in front of my house to a public dock. I was thinking how can I lock up some valuables in an open boat.
I decided to install a steel locking drawer under the V berth. This is at least out of site.
Bought the drawer meant for a work bench from Global Industrial.

Bolted the drawer frame to the underside of the V Berth. It is 20" deep so could not reach the bolts in the rear. I cut a 3" round hole in the V Berth deck so I could get the nut on the bolt.
I installed a carpet tile in the bottom of the drawer to keep items from rolling around.
The drawer comes with a tab to use a padlock.
