How Large a Barage for a 19?

First of what is a Barage? If the Architectural Review Committee of our development will let me do it I am planning on building what I will call a garage that looks like a barn. To be kept inside will be our small RV trailer and my boat. My question is how large a door, height and width, will I need to get a 19 Angler through and what depth, length of boat, motor and trailer, is necessary. Since I do yet not have one nor is there a convenient one close by to measure would one of you owners please give me your dimensions? Thanks for your assistance.
 
I have a 22, but they are the same width and height on the trailer. I have a 10 x 10 door on my shop and it gets in and out fine. While 10 x 10 sounds large, I wish it were wider as sometimes it is close on one side or another. Its fine though. My CD 22 is just shy of 28 feet long on the trailer, so your 19 is three feet shorter. I have the EZ loader single axle trailer it came from the factory if that helps. I ended up building a 42 x 27 foot shop for my CD 22 and 24 "V" class c motorhome. Its roomy.
 
We keep our 19 in a metal boat shed next to the house. I can get some good measurements tonight and post them.

Ten foot wide would be a minimum for me. I have 12'x12' doors on our "toy storage". If you have space and resources enough, make sure the building is big enough to have room to walk around the stored toys.
I built my shop 40'x64' with four 12'x12' doors. Sometimes I wish it were bigger.
 
Also be cognizant of the idea that you may get "two-foot-itis" (or 3 or 4 foot-itis) later in life and want a bigger boat or an RV. For example, my Tomcat is 12'3" to the top of the radar while on the trailer and a little shy of 39' from the tip of the hitch to the back of the tilted engines. Even 12' high doors wouldn't work for it. So if you can afford it AND the local committee will allow it, go a bit bigger than you think you'll need.
 
And the bigger it is, the more re-sale value it will add to your property if you decide to move.

It will also cost much more to enlarge it later than it will to build it larger now.

If you live in an area where there are are a lot of retired folks, RV/Storage barns add a lot to property resale values.

Add an upstairs loft or two to really enlarge the utility of the barn. Or even a complete upstairs apartment.

Missed again, my 19 is housed under a 30 x18' metal carport. Riley Rose sits on a single axel King trailer. With motors tilted up its 27' long. She is 9' tall to clear the roof with rack but I need a minimum of 10' due to radar. At 18' wide, the boat & my wife's double straight load horse trailer fit side by side with maybe 3' + to spare. Kind of scarey watching the little woman trying to hook her trailer in beside my boat when she returns from a ride as we don't have a straight shot. It can be a nail biter!!! I also have room for 5 34" crabpots, 4 prawn pots, 2 bicycles, 2 lawnmowers, pressure washer & my filłet table. I think I still have enough room to slide in a couple of sheets of carbon paper. Carbon paper? Does that date me? Oh, & I've never desired anything bigger than a 19!!
 
The width of the door can vary depending on the approach to the garage. If you have room to back strait in, a 10ft will work easy with a shade over a foot to spare. I have a tight 90 to get into from an alley. The doors are 11 feet wide, and not having a radar arch I can get in under the 12 height easy but it was all there before AI started. I'd recommend a minimum of 12 wide door if possible, and the height will determine whether you have a radar arch, which height or a shorter post or roof mount.

Since I am backing around to my left rear for the 90, I set a plastic garbage container at the opposite, (right rear trailer corner just next to the front left garage door frame side, with the lid up. If I get too close it will bump the garbage can and the lid will drop and I hear that, since there is no way to see that corner as I am backing. TMI but it works for me.

Build as big as you can afford and the regs will allow. As Joe says, it will increas yyour property value at some point.

Our metal shed is 18w by 20 deep and we were limited to 20 deep in the location we wanted it. The tongue sticks out a bit and the very nose of the boat gets wet sometimes but we use black mesh tarps front and back to keep rain and blowing debris out. I would not go less than 12 to14 wide for ladder/stool and walk around space and closer to 25ft of depth for us would hide the whole thing. We are on a king single axle trailer and it is adjusted in a lower than normal riding position. Our opening height is 10ft and we would need 8ft to clear just the roof and 9.5 to clear RADAR and canvas. 10ft allows clearance of our cargo rack the the dinghy has to come off for storage.
