How do you know when Whiskey Gulf ? is closed?

Going to be headed up to Princess Louisa soon...how do you hear/find out when Whiskey Gulf military area is closed?

Normal operating hours are weekdays about 8-5:30 BUT...don't depend on those hours. Call Victoria Coast Guard and ask them the day you are planning to go that way. They will have an accurate answer for that day.
 
It is also announced on the weather radio each day opened or closed.

Thanks everyone...will have the number for Victoria CG, listen to weather channel there 4 (if not 6?) and will probably try 16 to check as well. Sure hope the weather is good.

Rick...I know, I know...had created some resized pics a while back on the laptop which I was going to load but accidentally hit delete. Don't have any for 08 or 09 yet...little tardy I am :smile

Getting excited for the trip!!!!
