How do I upload a video?

I have video of cruising on my 22' C Dory Cruiser from Lewiston Idaho to the Pacific ocean. Beautiful scenery, Locks, interesting stops. I would like to share it. Can someone explain how to upload the video. George
 
Can't help on the upload but the subject matter sure sounds interesting. Would sure like to see it.

I don't believe you can upload the video itself here, but, instead have to upload it on a server like You Tube, the post a link here in a post like this one.

As Joe stated, you need to upload to a video host such as YouTube or Vimeo then in a post here give the web link to it. Without editing its a fairly simple process, but where only done by me every couple years, one I have to repeatedly relearn. If doing editing before uploading to a video host the process can become very complicated & time consuming depending on how professional you want the presented video to be. I have several links to videos here & even though they are far from professional quality they still took considerable time for down load from camera to computer to link established for view here by the C-Brats.

If you now have a video on your computer ready for viewing go to either Vimeo or YouTube & fellow their directions for uploading a video to them. Once the video is hosted by them providing a link to it is the same as posting a link to any other web address you want to share.
