Honda mechanic in the So Cal.

Does anyone know a good Honda mechanic in the So Cal. area? I'm very happy with Specialized in Oxnard ,but it's a 4.5 hour drive for me. The closest is Hemet, but that guy tried to rip me off to the tune of 19k to repower perfectly good motors.
I have a major rust problem on the frames and they need to be replaced.
We have the boat stored in Redlands ,Ca.
Shawn O. the old Tonie O is still cranking away.
 
I consulted Eric at Specality, not Specialized. He once again earned my trust by advising me to save about a grand and not replace the frames. He has never seen one break, they all rust, and they are nothing but an eyesore. :thup Thank god for the rare honest mechanic.
 
That's our Eric-- honest.
He has ALWAYS taken care of us and being closer then you, all I have to do is give him a call and he comes over to the boat to check something out or pick it up for service.
He will always have my business!
 
Try Avalon Yacht & Boat Sales, 1300 W 14th St, Long Beach, (562)495-2130. They just do outboards, they do a lot of work for Long Beach. They certainly were knowledgeable on my motor. They worked with Honda to get my warranty straightened out with Honda, AND they had a outboard dyno. Been there for years. Right off the end of the Long Beach fwy.
