Honda fuel hose assembly ?

Hello,
I have two 2008 Honda motors, a 90HP and a 9.9 hp. I am changing out the fuel hose assembly (primer bulb and hoses on either end). I just bought one from a local Honda dealer and the model number they sold me is 04101-zw9-010 which according to the Honda site is for 2001 or earlier models. The site says I need the 17700-ZW9-030 BF8D-BF130 - Fits all 2002 and subsequent year models. I called the dealer and they told me this is what they have been using for years. Am I ok using the one I purchased or should I get the right model number. The site does not tell what the difference is between the two different models.

thanks

Thanks - i do know I have a quick disconnect on the kicker, the hose that I bought has two different quick disconnects on either end. One I will need to cut off no matter what as to connect to the water fuel separator I will need a hose clamp. The other end that connects to the motor is a quick disconnect and the one that I bought has the square part and not round. I think it is the same but need to get boat home. As far as the 90, I will need to cut both ends off as there is no quick disconnect on the motor.

Another idea (that I didn't come up with myself but got from another C-Brat) is to - instead of cutting that one end off - buy an additional quick disconnect fitting and fit *that* to the fuel/water separator and then "click" the kicker fuel-hose quick connector onto that. That way you have the option of connecting the kicker to a portable tank (say if you had a fuel/tank problem with the main tanks).
