I'm glad my suggestion helped. Although I didn't actually find and replace the part myself, my mechanic did troubleshoot the problem to the relay, which in the Suzuki was a small electrical part. Since my motor was under warranty, it got replaced for free. I'm pretty sure the part was under $20. Perhaps the relay is similar on Hondas? In any case, congrats on finding a solution.
