Honda 135 service in the water

how does the 135 honda push your boat , top speed, best cruise ,etc Ive just purchased a used 23 cc with a f115 yamaha I agree with you I like the simplicity of the cc23 vs the venture 23 from c-dory The top speed on the cc23 with f115 is about 32-33 mph .At high cruise she uses 5 gph
24mph at 20 mph she does about 4gph . So 20 will be my cruising speed .
We live in Naples fl . We have a few c-dory down here so when your finished come on down Keep us informed with your adventure . I was supposed to retire last yr . But life got in the way Hopefully the end of this yr ill be 60 take care Jim and Loree Widmann

BTW my Duck-22 is for sale if anyone is interested

Our Honda135 is coming up on 300 hours.Has anyone done the service in the water(oil change etc.)or does the boat have to be out? Thanks for any info. See Linda's Blog of our trip at http://voyageofsimplicity.blogspot.com.She's also going to post pictures on C brats.

If I were a servicing dealer/agency, I sure wouldn't try it in the water with all the potential problems of spills, etc. Also, I don't think the lower unit CAN be done in the water. The engine would have to be tilted up to drain it and I'm not sure all the lube would come out.

Best have someone take it out.
