Hi folks.. I just returned from a 5 day trip on the ICW in New Jersey. On Tuesday, I was aground at bouy 128A just above atlantic city , and a nice couple aboard a C Dory stopped to help.. after a few attempts at passing a line, they encountered difficulty with the line getting stuck in their prop and determined that it was not worth further attempts.. a decision that I totally agree with!

I ended up with two of their fenders and some line.. and I gave them my phone number over the radio.. have not heard from them.. I am afraid that in the excitement, I transposed a digit in my number!

So, i need help locating these fine folks, and I hope that someone here will recognize who they are.. ( or , perhaps they are members )

the boat was most definitely a C dory.. I am quite sure that the boat was a 22 foot model.. I believe that it was registered in Maryland.. the couple was headed to Beach Haven NJ that night.. and i think that that name was C pod.. or something like that..

I hope that someone here will be able to help me get in touch with these nice folks..

my email address is cp23_1983@yahoo.com and I am jason thanks!!

that name sure sounds familiar, but I looked in the "photos" up above and didn't notice an album called C-Pod.

you could check the brat map too:
