Hi folks, this is the first time since the Blind Channel Marina in Mayne Passage that I have had access. We left the Marina on the morning of 23 Jun and headed west to Johnstone Strait then east up Nodales Channel to Chameleon Harbour in Thurston Bay Marine Park. The first two days we were treated to torrential rains. The third day was spectacular - Handfield Bay at the north end of Chameleon Harbour is an absolute gem, sheltered, good dog walking islands and serenity- we would go back in a heartbeat. After our stay there we returned to Big Bay by way of Dent Rapids and stayed the night. Today (26 Jun) we slowly motored to the Toba Inlet Wildernest Marina and Resort. It is overcast but warm and the snow capped mountains at the end of the Inlet are very prominent. We will probably leave here in the morning and head down Waddington Channel for a few days at Roscoe Bay - nice freshwater lake in a short walk. The weather has not been stellar - maybe on of these years we shall hit the right month for hot sunny days and calm seas! Have taken lots of pics - will download from camera and attach later some time later today.
