Paid a visit to the factory yesterday with Joe and Ruth of R-Matey. Perhaps some of you locals have seen this, but for the rest of you - here's a bit o' history.

This ol' gal birthed many a C-Dory 22 Cruiser - maybe yours.

Very interesting! Were these subject to just the ravages of time out of doors, or where they in the fire also?

Now we know where old C Dory molds go. Many do not realize that there is a finite life to boat molds, and that they have to be replenished with time.
 
Don't know, Dr. Bob - and didn't think to ask. Should have, but my mind was elsewhere...looking towards the future, not the past. :mrgreen:

It's sitting outside the factory, right around the corner from the main entrance.
