Happy St Patrick's Day

My first date with my wife took place on St. Patrick's day 29 years ago. We went bowling and ate some pizza. So, tonight we are going out to do the same thing. I might even drink a green beer. Happy St. Patrick's day to all also!

And for your information...the kids in my science class (high school) still "pinch" non-green clothes wearers....

So why didn't you wear green today?

A Mormon was seated next to an Irishman on a flight from London. Afterthe plane was airborne, drink orders were taken. The Irishman asked fora whiskey, which was promptly brought and placed before him.

The flight attendant then asked the Mormon if he would like a drink. Hereplied in disgust, "I'd rather be savagely raped by a dozen whores thanlet liquor touch my lips."

The Irishman then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, "Me,too, I didn't know we had a choice."

Yeah, and when I was 24 and teaching science classes, it was pretty hard to resist wanting to pinch some of those older girls too!

Joe. (Waiting quietly to be arrested by the Thought Police.) :smileo

I was swathed in green Roger, lol.

No thought police here Joe. I just hope I have it as good as you in location and boat when I get to retire. 14 more years, 14 more years, 14 more years....

May have to come up with the C-Pelican and say hello to you and the lake one summer.

40 years ago yesterday I checked in to Camp Pendleton enroute to SE Asia. They started at the back of the line and took the first SSG, SGT, 2 CPLs (I was one) and 120 PVTs and PFCs and assigned to mess duty. SSG was from Camp Pendleton so he went home, SGT was enroute to Saigon Embassy so he calle HQMC and left the next day. I was senior CPL so I got command and stayed mainside while other CPL went out to "the field". 99% of the troops were from San Antonio so they would take off on Saturday and get back late on Monday -- the threat of sending them to Vietnam carried little water. After 6 weeks and being alerted to go to Detroit to quell riots, we added more troops including officers did 2 weeks pre deployment training then boarded plane to Okinawa and Vietnam. Made it to Chu Lai on May 14 -- the night the new EM club burned down..Ahh the St Paddy's Day memories.
