Patty here. Couldn't let today go by without wishing my Captain a Happy Birthday! Poor guy had to be at a meeting at 8:30am and has evening meetings that won't get him home until after nine. Makes today really "special," huh? No special dinner, no card, no gift, no nothin'! But we have decided to splurge on a windlass in September when business at C-Dory slows a bit and we will call that his birthday gift.
 
Well now we'll just have to wish our Beermiester a Very Happy Birthday from afar, and we'll toast him with an apropriate glass of gin since we seem to be somewhat challenged in the appropriate beer category here in Oregon.

Pat, we wish you a most festive and Happy Birthday for what remains of your special day.

A windlass is an excellent birthday present! And just for you, even though I haven't been able to scrounge one up in months, I am going to start anew my search for one of them snazzy but elusive counters and a reed switch so you can fashion yourself up a line counter. The electricians won't like me bugging them again, but, well, that's what they get paid for, ain't it?

Did someone say cats? That's my cue to wish a great big happy birthday to our fabulous Beer Guy. Beer dude, sorry you can't play in your boat all day today, but Langley and Big Ben are just a few weeks away.

(I'm sure glad that you and David are around to keep Haggen's grocery in stock with your fine beer!...........also sure glad that Haggen's grocery opened their new store in Arlington, so I don't have to travel to Lake Stevens to purchase it!!!!!).
