Hello all!
Gypsy sold today and her new home will be Annapolis, Md.. A great place for her, what, with all the 350 years of seafaring tradition and history! Thank you all for your support and kind words, and special thanks to Tyboo Mike for the help with the posts! Brenda and I will continue to monitor this site because of the great folks who hang out here. Meanwhile we will be busy with getting another Gypsy ready for travel!

congrats on the sale, mike!
love the new boat, must feel like 1000 sq. ft. over the old gypsy!
keep us informed on your travels and remember, not all c-dory owners are c-brats and not all c-brats own c-dory's! it's the passion for boating and good fellowship that bonds us.
please extend a big hello to my buddy, the byrdman. not sure when linda and i will be in nashville, hopefully within the next several months, if you guys are around would love to do dinner.
pat

Way to go Mikey,
I know owning two boats at the same time is very stressful , not to mention the work of keeping Gyspy detailed out waiting for the future buyer to come along. I sure think the new owners got one hell of a deal on a very good boat. You had her rigged out to perfection and I would kill for the dual controls and trim and tilt kicker arrangement.

Keep me informed on your progress on the new boat check out and how you plan on my sleeping arrangement onboard her..... :smile

Happy Gobblins...to you both,

Mike & Judy and the Kids

Brother Mike and Miss B: Wow.... Cumberland River system will not be the same with the two of you spending untold hours/days/weeks on board your much loved CD22. Last week when I was prepping to head to the Gulf and crossed the bridge and saw the two GYPSY boats in the cove with the sun rising with the morning fog off the water I thought Hummm.... I can not think of a more deserving couple to have a nice 10 meter cruiser AND a CD22 dingy to get from the dock out to their new to them boat. The new space will be wonderful I am sure but the many times on GYPSY have to be etched in your minds and memories forever. Just to think of the times we have enjoyed around these C-Dory boats and their owners surpasses the amount of fun many do not enjoy in a life time. You are good to go on using my tow vechicle when the time comes in a bit over a week as I will get her cleaned up a bit from the trip myself and C-Pearl just enjoyed going down to the Gulf. Congrats on your sale...I guess... :sad ... and I guess that is what you wanted to do. The CD22 GYPSY did not need to be left behind at the docks, but, rather out there plying her way thru new waters. Be sure to schedule you a good cruise day up in Annapolis and for sure make a pass thru ship row. It will just bring a few chills over your body seeing the wonderful ships and subs.....even if just cruising pass....and....ya gotta sea trial it somewhere upon delivery. :beer

To good times had...and more to come from your "little" brother Pat!! Cheers!! :beer :beer :cocktail

Thanks guys!!!
Patrick, you are oh, so correct about the people here, C-Dory or no. Keep us posted on when ya'll will be back in the area, love to get together!
Mikie, you've got a spot on the new Gypsy that is bigger than the bunk in the stateroom (that sounds funny, stateroom!) anytime once we get the bottom done!
Brother, don't be so sentimental! You'll make B cry! :unlove If anyone enjoys a boat any more than we enjoyed the C-Dory, they are doing something illegal!!!
The plan is to keep this one about three years and then go back to a cute boat again!
Gotta run! Helpin' a friend move his houseboat up the river a mile or 26! 8) :beer
Thanks again!
