This is my first post to this site - so "Greetings" from Mike and Kaya.

We became the happy owners of a new/old CD 16 Cruiser this week. We haven't had it in the water yet because it's in getting engines serviced, but we're sure looking forward to next week end.

Our first trip will be to Poulsbo, followed by a trip to Hood Canal. This summer we're planning several cruises to the San Juan's. If you see us, please say "Hi". We'd like to swap CD stories.

All I can say is it's 'Bout Time! Congratulations.

Try to fit the Bellingham gig into your mid-July schedule, and you'll see a whole bunch of us. You have no idea what you've gotten yourselves into!

Mike and Kaya-

Congradulations on your new boat, and welcome to the fracas and funny free-for-all!

Be sure to christen or initiate your boat when you can!

We also have re-naming ceremonies that are listed under the "Documents" Forum and can be performed by the Very Reverends Jim and Dave at C-Brat Get Togethers!

Joe.

Congrats! Mike is so right, you have no idea what you have got yourself into here! Keep an eye on the events in the area, Lopez (May) and Bellingham (July) are coming up next. I hear Fred (Anita Marie, Little Buddy) might just be cooking up a little 16 only event...

We just finished Sunday brunch at Ivars Salmon House on Lake Union. A beautiful 22 cruiser goes by. My grandaughter (she says she is four and four quarters, but she is really only four and THREE quarters) says , in her stage voice, "Look granpa it's a boat like yours, only grown-up!" Welcome to the neighborhood.
